Washington, DC — Today, David Wu announced his year-to-date fundraising totals, one of the strongest first quarters of his career. Exceeding even the most aggressive goals, Wu's $219,000 in contributions – and $172,000 cash on hand – demonstrates broad support and confidence in his ability to effectively serve his constituents.

Portland, Ore. — Republican Rob Cornilles has repeatedly pledged to repeal major sections of the health care reform law, saying, “I’m going to vote to replace the bad portions of that bill, and there’s a lot of it,” at an August 23, 2010, town hall in Forest Grove.

Oregonians can expect Cornilles to seek to repeal health care provisions that expand the number of people who have health insurance, based on public comments during this campaign.  At the Dorchester debate on March 6, 2010, Rob said that he doesn’t believe that all Americans can have affordable health insurance and equated having quality coverage with owning a luxury car:
